Kiska Hardin Atchley of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 16, 1946 in Sheridan, the daughter of John W. Hardin and the late Josie Flory Hardin. She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. She enjoyed reading, cooking, fishing, cross-stitching and decorating for Christmas. She also loved going to Tar Camp and cooking big breakfasts for her children and granadchildren.

Mrs. Atchley died Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock at the age of 72.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Driskell Hardin, and her sisters, LaVonda Marshall and Dianne Mooney.

Survivors; husband of 53 years, Albert Atchley of Sheridan; father, John W. Hardin of Sheridan; son, Nathan and wife Amanda Atchley of Sheridan; daughters, Melissa Godwin and Terry Murphy of Wright, Donna and husband Dennis Fugitt of Hensley; sister, Twyla Treadway of Sheridan; 8 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 22, 2018   at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Calvin Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at Center Grove Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 until service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Kiska Atchley burial fund at Peoples Bank.

Pallbearers are Bo Godwin, Matthew Godwin, Ethan Atchley, David Mooney, John David Treadway and Russell Atchley. Honorary pallbearer is Dale Clark.
