Kermit Otto "KO" Bell, Jr. of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 27, 1938 in Sparkman, the son of the late Kermit Otto Bell, Sr. and Hazel Leoleau Smith Bell. He was a member of Meadowview Southern Baptist Church and had a Doctorate in Entomology. He enjoyed hunting squirrel and pheasant, fly fishing, photography and collecting. He had also served in the Army National Guard.

Mr. Bell died on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 85.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Lee Bell, Robert Allen Bell, Earl Linwood Bell; sisters, Anita Bell Stine, Patricia Bell Pierini, Hazel Marie Bell.

Survivors: companion of 19 years, Betty Ward of Sheridan; brother, John Bell of Little Rock; sisters, Wanda Bell Adams of Memphis, TN, Sherlyn Bell Larrison of Youngsville, LA, Helen Bell Johnson of Little Rock and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
