Kole Samuel King of Sheridan, Arkansas was born April 18, 1998 in Little Rock, Arkansas the son of Randy F. King and the late Carla Melissa Strahan King. He was an active member of First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan where he was involved in Student Ministries. He was a Freshman at Sheridan Freshman Academy and he enjoyed deep sea fishing, spending time with his family and having friends over, playing basketball and running track.

Kole passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 14.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Durwood Strahan and Cordelia and Samuel King, Sr.

Survivors: Father, Randy King of Sheridan;
Grandmother, Betty Strahan of Fordyce;
Aunts and Uncles, Georgia and Sam King, Jr. Of Sheridan and Lisa and Kenn Babin of Shreveport, Louisiana;
Half-brother, Randall King of Irving, Texas;
Special Cousin, Alexa Babin of Shreveport, Louisiana;
and numerous cousins, friends and church family.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 15, 2013 at First Landmark Baptist Church with Bro. Ryan Tarkington and Bro. Shawn Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. also at First Landmark Baptist Church.

Pallbearers are Sam King, Jr., Clyde Smith, Damon Alexander, John Rainwater, Ron Theiss and DeHaan Thornton. Honorary pallbearers are Jessie Smith, Brandon Whitaker, Nick Smith, Jack Phillips, Randall King, Dalton Harp and Bleys Smith.
