Kyle Brice Ray of Prattsville, Arkansas was born June 26, 2006 at Benton, the son of David Lynn Ray and Amy Nicole Bailey Ray. Kyle had a smile that was contagious and made everyone around him happy. His family attended "The Ark" Church in Hot Springs.

Kyle died Friday, August 3, 2007 at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 1 as a result of an accidental drowning. He was preceded in death by great grandparents, Herman and Pauline Brewer, John and Onie Ray and Troy and Effie Bailey; Great Great Grandparents, Ray and Addie Mae Earnest and Ellis and Myrtle Taylor; Great Great Great Grandparents: Pearl and Monroe Buie and Ophelia Gardner.

Survivors include his parents, David and Amy Ray of Prattsville; Brothers: Hunter and Braxton Ray of Prattsville; Grandparents: Floyd and Patsy Ray of Sheridan, Steve and Tammy Bailey of Prattsville; Great Grandparents: Gene and Louise Earnest of Prattsville; Adopted Great Grandmother, Texie Harris of Sheridan; Adopted "PawPaw" Lester Bates of Poyen; Aunts and Uncles: Vickey Shellnut, Dianna Hubbard, Sherry and Gary Heath, Paul Shellnut, Jr., Timmy Bailey, Gene Bailey, April Earnest; Cousins: Morgan Ray, Zachary Shellnut, Cody Ray, Megan Duncan, Morgan Heath, Skylar Lamb, Kynan Lamb, Lahanna Harp and Gavin Earnest.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Gary Jennings and Bro. Don Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery at Prattsville. Visitation: Tuesday, 6:00-9:00 P.M.. Pallbearers will be Timmy Bailey, Gene Bailey, Randy Earnest, Paul Shellnut, Jr., Gary Heath, Daniel Earnest, William Cupit , Shawn Small, Jesse Thomas and Alex Harp.
