Lala Mae Reynolds Taylor of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 17, 1915 in Sheridan, the daughter of Joshua J. and Lynnie Mae Wafford Reynolds. She was a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church at Sheridan and was a retired beautician.
Mrs. Taylor died January 17, 2010 at the age of 94.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherrill Taylor, a daughter Lynda Sue Lee and brothers, Okie T. and wife Gladys Reynolds, Buck Reynolds, Otha Lee and wife Gladys Reynolds, Hollis Reynolds and wife Carolyn, Walter Reynolds and sisters Joey Archer, Charlie Dee Bristol and husband Jack and Mamie Reynolds.
Survivors: Daughter, Sherley Mae Taylor Hix Petty and husband Charles of Sheridan;
Sister, Sarah Freda Brewer of Ovid, New York;
6 Grandchildren, Michael Scott Hix and wife Kellye of Quitman;

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Montgomery, Rev. William Ashcraft and Rev. Shawn Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery at Sheridan. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 until 8 PM.
