Lauren Mikenna Theiss, of Sheridan, Arkansas, was born February 27, 2026, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, the daughter of Austen and Shelby Theiss. Our precious Lauren lived one week and went home to be with Jesus on Friday, March 6, 2026. Her favorite person was her twin sister, Lucy Kate, who remains in the hospital and still needs your prayers.

She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Bob Carter and Ron and Lorraine Theiss, and her maternal great-grandfather, Clay Smitty Dedman.

Lauren is survived by her Daddy and Mama, Austen and Shelby Theiss; her handsome big brother, Carter Slade Theiss; and her beautiful twin sister, Lucy Kate Theiss, all of Sheridan. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Ron and Joanne Carter Theiss of Sheridan; maternal grandparents, Laura Dedman of Sheridan and Mike Gatlin of Bauxite; paternal great-grandmother, Ann Hale Carter of Sheridan; maternal great-grandmother, Linda Dedman of Sheridan; aunts and uncles, Ashlea and Randall Woodall, Aron and Sidney Theiss, Megan and Brian Brown, and Katelyn and Noah Lloyd; along with a host of cousins and other extended family members.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00–3:00 PM, followed by funeral services beginning at 3 PM, with Bro. Dennis Blackerby officiating. Both will be held at the Memorial Gardens Chapel. Due to the weather, services will conclude at the chapel without a graveside service. Burial will be in Philadelphia Cemetery at Prattsville.
