Laver Smith Brewer, of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 12, 1918 in Sheridan the daughter of the late Jacob Marvin and Dovie Kelly Smith. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

Mrs. Brewer died Friday, May 14, 2004 at Sheridan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 85.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Bill Brewer, Daughters; Jewell Hix, Louise Morris; Brothers; George, Arlee, and Stergin Smith.

Survivors: Daughters; Gladys and husband Dub Garner of Pine Bluff, Marva and Ed Winans of Sheridan: Sister; Lucille Henderson of Sheridan; Son in law; James Morris of Sheridan

6 Grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great grand daughters

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Robert Ewing officiating. Burial will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan.
