Laverne Ross, age 63, of Grapevine, Arkansas left to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 29, 2005. She was born on December 21, 1941 at Pine Bluff, the daughter of the late Arthur Lee Rand and Mary Helen Crain Rand. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Scott Lazenby.
She was a member of Sardis Missionary Baptist Church at Grapevine; a retired real-estate agent, having worked for Century 21; and was a member of the Ladies Auxillary VFW in Pine Bluff.

Lee Lazenby (wife, Connie) of Dallas, Texas;
Albert Ross of Wright, Arkansas;
Johnny Ross of Lewisville, Arkansas;
Mark Ross of Grapevine, Arkansas

2 daughters: Denise Inzer (husband, Lewis) of White Hall, Arkansas;
Jackie Kendrick (husband, Donald Ray) - Grapevine, Arkansas

21 Grandchildren: Stephen, Travis, Jordan, Dalton, Jessica, Lauren, Nicole, Justin, Tommy, Christopher, Jarrett, Kristi, Matt, Jason, Candice, Jade, Parrish, Presley, Harlee, Kyle and Amber

3 Great-grandchildren: Collin, Peyton and Lyndee

In addition, she is survived by many special family and friends that were dear to her heart.

Funeral services are Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Reverend Ron Young officiating. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery.
