Lawrence L. Welch, Jr. of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 13, 1944 in Urania, Louisiana, the son of the late Lawrence L. Welch, Sr. and Lois Jordon Welch. He was retired from Mid America Packaging and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Mr. Welch died at his home on January 22, 2025 at the age of 81.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Survivors: wife, Carol Jean Reeves Welch of Sheridan; sons, Lonnie Welch (Donna) of Kemp, Texas, James Welch of Sheridan, Lance Welch (Becky) of Rainier, Oregon; 2 grand daughters and a host of extended family members and friends.

Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Friday, January 24, 2025 at Center Campground Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation is Friday at the funeral home 9:00 until 9:30 AM
