Lela Davidson, age 74, of Roland, Arkansas passed away Thursday, October 22, 2026. She was born on September 16, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Vernon and Agnes Pinson.
Lela was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was filled with love for her family, a strong faith in Jesus Christ, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.
Lela enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spending time outdoors. Above all, she cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who meant the world to her. She also had a special love for her dogs, who brought her companionship and joy. Her faith in Jesus was an important part of her life, and the love she shared with those around her will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
Lela lived in Woodson, Arkansas, for most of her life until she became ill and moved with her daughter and son-in-law in Roland, Arkansas, where she was surrounded by the love and care of her family.
Lela departed this world, leaving behind a family who loved her dearly and will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.
She is survived by her four children: Christina Jones of Shannon Hills; Wayne (Tammy) Davidson of East End; Georgia (Chuck) Fletcher of Roland; and Michelle (Johnny) Hurst of Roland. She also leaves behind her four siblings, Hazel Kelley, Beverly McCall, Vernon Pinson, and Angel Overstreet; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, three sisters, one brother, and two grandchildren.
Though Lela is no longer with us here on earth, her memory lives on through the many lives she touched and the family she loved so dearly. We find comfort in knowing that her faith in Jesus Christ gives us the hope of being reunited with our loved ones one day.
Her love, laughter, and memories will forever be cherished. She will always be remembered for her love of family, her enjoyment of hunting and fishing, her love for her dogs, and, most importantly, the faith she carried in her heart.
Graveside service will be 3:00 PM on Friday, October 30, 2026 at Jones Cemetery, Grant 416, Jefferson with Billy Kelley officiating. Visitation will be Thursday night 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love will live on forever. Until we meet again, may she rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus.
