Leon Beatty of Pine Bluff, Arkansas was born April 15, 1945 at Dumas, the son of the late Albert Henson and Margie Bernice Pennington Beatty. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Vietnam, was a member of First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church and was retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal.

Mr. Beatty died Saturday at his home at the age of 60.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel at Sheridan with Bro. David Harris and Bro. James R. Paxton officiating.
