Leonard S. Reasons of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 2, 1930 in Patmas, Arkansas the son of the late Floyd Reasons and Marie Palmer Reasons Sanders. He was a member of Forest Tower Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed Nascar, football and reading westerns.

Mr. Reasons died Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 79.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Donald Reasons, a sister Helen Gibbs and a brother, Chuck Reasons.

Survivors: Wife, Sue Penny Smith Reasons;
Sister, Jodie Whiting;
Step-daughter, Cozette Threlkeld and husband Steve;
Step-sons, Scott and wife Tina Smith; Gary Smith all of Sheridan;
5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and a special friend Blackie Ware of Pasadena, Texas.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 18, 2010 in Salem Cemetery at East End with Bro. Ricky Tipton officiating. Visitation: 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
