Lila Faye Beck Johnson, 77, of Sheridan died December 23, 2007 at the Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab Center. She was born September 19, 1930 in Alleene, Arkansas to the late Alta Mize Beck and Reuben Lowery Beck. She was a Methodist and a retired school teacher having taught in Rossion, East End and Grapevine Schools.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herman Thomas Johnson and seven siblings, the latest were brothers, William Bobby and Marvin Beck.

Great grandchildren: Ariel Johnson, Hayden and Steven Robinwitz; Triston Williams;
Sisters, Blanche Gregory of Malvern; Evelyn Welch of Sheridan and Jo Ann Barham (Sammy) of Ozark;
Brothers, Alton Beck of Sherwood; Raymond Beck (Edith) of Wilton; Jason Beck (Margaret) of Panora, Iowa and R.L. Beck(Sue) of Sheridan;
Sisters in law; Lanelle Beck of Pine Bluff; Lenora Johnson of Jackson, Mississippi; Ruby Johnson of Mississippi;
Brother in law, Gene Johnson(Sarah) of Conway; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 28, 007 at First Assembly of God Church in Sheridan with Bro. Eddie Gwin officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Gordon Whitaker, Rusty Pate, Nathan Talbert, Jeremy Jones, Karl Walton and Randy Pate.
