Lillie Bell Veazey Paty of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 29, 1941 in Sheridan, the daughter of the late Clarence and Toncie Ola Croy Veazey. She was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan, a 1958 graduate of Sheridan High School and a proud Sheridan School bus driver for 21 years. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and watching birds.
Mrs. Paty died Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 78.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Paty and her brothers, Clarence Avery Veazey, John Veazey and Edward Veazey.
Survivors: son, Robert Scott and wife Jamie Paty of Montana; daughters, Beverly and husband Patrick Poe of Sheridan, Sandra Lea Paty also of Sheridan; sisters, Lulu Clarke of Little Rock, Eunice Dreher of Arkadelphia, Jettie Anderson of Memphis, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Ola Faye Veazey of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, Brandy and Craig Parkridge, Lucas Paty, Adam Poe, Noah and Colton Hepp; great grandchildren, Thomas, Jonathan, and Samuel Parkridge and Flyn Hepp and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 25, 2019 at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan with Bro. Shawn Hill officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 until 9:45 A.M. at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers are the Sheridan School District Bus Drivers.
