Obituary

Linda Sue Clifft Cotton of Sheridan, Arkansas was born December 1, 1945 at Henryville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Wille Edgar and Lucinda Voss Clifft.  Linda had a servant's heart and loved helping people.  She retired from the Area Agency On Aging as a Home Health Worker, after 23 years of service.  She and her husband enjoyed restoring and traveling in their antique cars.  She was likely, the biggest fan of Arkansas Razorback Basketball who ever lived.  She knew the roster, and every detail about the players.  Her greatest joy was her family.  She enjoyed spending every moment she could making memories with her husband, kids and grands.

Mrs. Cotton died Friday, April 22, 2022 at her home in Sheridan, at the age of 76. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Ray Cotton; a great grandson, Levi Dean Ward, and also several siblings.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Jimmy Cotton of Sheridan; daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Ernie Rodgers of Sheridan; sister, Betty Smith (Bill) of Summertown, Tennessee; grandchildren, Amanda Bankston (Stacey), Emily Davidson (Shane), Shelby Green (Eric); great grandchildren, McKenna, Brayden, Daxton, Zoey, Forest and Finn.   She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating.  Burial will be in Rhodes Cemetery.  Visitation is also Tuesday, 1:00-2:00 P.M.
