Linda Lee Weems Ladd of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 28, 1939 in Bluffton, Arkansas (Yell County), the daughter of the late Lowell and Sybil Gilmore Weems. She was retired from the paper mill where she worked in human resources. Linda loved helping people and had a smile as big as her heart.

Mrs. Ladd died Saturday, January 27, 2018, at her home in Sheridan, at the age of 78. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Douglas, and David Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Ladd; sons, Lowell Ladd and Roy Ladd, all of Sheridan; step-son, Harold B. Ladd of East End; step-daughters, Ramona Conde and Carol Brashier both of Dallas, Texas; caregivers, Tom and Sharon Hanner. She is also survived by numeral nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Johnie Brewster officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation is also Wednesday, from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
