Linda June Hall Lankford of Malvern, Arkansas was born December 14, 1950 in Hot Springs, the daughter of the late Norman Woodburn Hall and Dorothy Mae Otwell Hall. She was a teacher for Sheridan Public Schools for 24 years. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Malvern. She enjoyed teaching, cooking, canning, spending time with her grandchildren, especially watching them play ball.

Ms. Lankford died on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at CHI St. Vincent's Hospital at the age of 73.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Lankford; sisters, Patsy Ammons, Sherry Brown; grandchildren, Jake Hogg and Nick Hogg.

Survivors: son, James Robert "Rob" Lankford (Renee) of Glen Rose; daughters, Brenda Cox of Sheridan, Priscilla Lankford of Arizona; brother, James Back (June) of Hot Springs; sister, Donna Trent (Travis) of Hot Springs; brother in law, Charlie Brown of Hot Springs; 4 grandchildren, Kari Gilham, Daniel Lankford (Amanda), Noah Lankford, Zack Hogg; great grandchildren, Joshua Aden, Kalli Gilham, Blayden Gilham, Taylor Gilliam, SJ Lankford, Emmy-Dawn Lankford, one on the way and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service will be 12:00 noon on June 4, 2024 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Joey McDermott officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 AM until service time. Burial will be at 2:00 P.M. also Tuesday at Price Cemetery in Hot Springs.
