Linda (Johnson) Warmack was born in Jonesboro, AR December 13, 1941. She left this earth on November19, 2022

She was the daughter of Hazel & Rudy Johnson.  After finishing high school in Walnut Ridge, AR, she entered Harding College to pursue her degree in Elementary Education. It was there she met her husband, Tom Warmack.  Linda received her BA degree in 1963.  She returned to her hometown of Walnut Ridge to begin her teaching career. On June 14, 1964, she married Tom, who was in his senior year in Pharmacy School in Little Rock.  Later she taught school in Little Rock, Pine Bluff, and Sheridan. In 1983 Tom bought a pharmacy in Fordyce, AR.  Over the next 30 years she worked with her husband in the Pharmacy.  Her marriage was blessed with 3 children and enough love to fill an ocean.

She is survived by her husband Tom, daughter Becky of Sheridan, son Steve of Little Rock, and son Scott and wife Jenna of Fayetteville, AR, sister Shirley Shankle and husband Bob of Sheridan, brother David Johnson and wife Cindy of Walnut Ridge, and five grandchildren and one great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Sheridan Church of Christ.  She served faithfully for over 54 years. Her capacity to love others was boundless.

Her sudden departure from this life has left a large hole in our hearts.      While we mourn, we know that where she is now reflects her goal of that eternal home promised to the faithful followers of our savior.  We understand that she is not really gone, she is just gone from our sight.

Funeral service will be Friday, November  25, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Joe Jones and Kendall Hemphill officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
