Lisa Ellen Huff Haynes of East End, Arkansas was born May 24, 1960 at Newport News, Virginia, the daughter of the late Glee Emil Huff and Anna Christine Carpenter Huff Griffin. She was a member of Springlake Church of the Nazarene and had worked at East End Animal Care as an assistant. To say Lisa was an animal lover was an understatement. She rescued countless dogs and cats over the years and gave them the love she felt they deserved. Her greatest passion was making memories with her family, especially her grandkids.

Lisa died Friday, April 1, 2016 at her home, at the age of 55. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Huff, Elvis Griffin, and Edward Huff; sisters, Deborah Huff and Marie Barnett; step-father, Thomas Griffin.

Survivors include her husband and best friend, Charles Haynes; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Nicole Haynes; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Steven Cook; all of East End; 2 nieces that Lisa raised as her own, Brittany Barnett of Sheridan and Alisha Travis of Cabot; brothers, Tommy Huff and Kenneth Huff; sisters, Carren Griffin Thomas and Rosemary Wilson; grandchildren, Gabe Cook, Drake Haynes, Cambri Haynes, Bentley Bruner, Royce Bruner, James Travis, Arabella Travis, and Kaydence Long; She is also survived by numerous other family members and many, many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Springlake Church of the Nazarene with Bro. Phil Stein officiating. A time of visitation will also be Wednesday, beginning at 10:00 A.M., prior to the service.
