Obituary
Lois Fairfield Byrd of Pine Bluff, Arkansas was born August 11, 1949 at Harrison, Arkansas, the daughter of Jodie Reason Whiting and the late James Fairfield. She was formerly a waitress.
Mrs. Byrd died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at her home near Pine Bluff at the age of 58. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Byrd who died in 1995.
Survivors include her mother, Jodie Whiting of Sheridan; daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Danny Allred of Benton; brother, Billy R. Kimbrell of Sheridan; sisters, Bobbie Jean Guidry of Ft. Worth, Texas and Carol Holmes of Jacksonville, Florida; 4 grandchildren; a special friend, Glen Williams.
At Lois's request, there will be no service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
