Lois Helen Jackson Chamberlain of Fordyce, Arkansas, formerly of El Dorado, was born July 17, 1939 at Sheridan, the daughter of the late Lonnie and Bessie Walters Jackson. She was of the Church of Christ faith and enjoyed planting and tending her flowers.

Ms. Chamberlain died Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado at the age of 72. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Samuel Albert Chamberlain, and a sister, Odessa Quick.

Survivors include her daughter, Helen Denise Lawson Harcrow and husband Ike of Fordyce; brothers, Raymond, Cleo, William Ray and Jimmy Jackson; sister, Sue Jackson Brixie; 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren, and 1 step great great grandchild.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Jackson Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation will be Monday, from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
