Obituary

Lois Charleen Graves of Little Rock, Arkansas was born January 15, 1929 in Prattsville, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Henry Clifton and Lois Iva Ray Moore. She was the long-time director of the children's Day Care Center at Baseline Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Mabelvale and had previously been a member of Baseline Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, Sunday dinners with her family, her Day Care kids, sewing little girls' dresses, and serving her Lord with her church family.

Mrs. Graves died Friday, December 19, 2014 at House of Three in Little Rock at the age of 85.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G.A. Graves, Jr., and brothers, James H. Moore and David Moore.

Survivors: Sons, Rick and wife Patti Graves of Little Rock; Gary and wife Lisa Graves of Dallas;
Chuck and wife Tina Graves of Sheridan; Sister, Jan McNeil of Pangburn, Brother, Roe Moore of Prattsville, Sister-in-law, Wanda Moore of Prattsville; Grandchildren, Rebekah and husband Wesley Turner, Aaron Graves, Ben Graves, Micah Graves; great grandchildren, Noah and Joseph Turner and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank Crown Point Retirement in Sheridan, Mt. Carmel Community in Hot Springs Village, House of Three in Little Rock, and Arkansas Hospice for the superb and loving care shown to our mother.

Visitation will be Monday night from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Parrish officiating. Burial will be at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Missionary Baptist Seminary, 5224 Stagecoach Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204.
