Louis A. Jackson, Jr. Of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 3, 1917 in Sheridan, the son of the late Louis A. Jackson, Sr. And Katie Braswell Jackson. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Sheridan and was a World War II veteran having served in the Army.

Mr. Jackson died Thursday, January 20, 2005 at the John L. McClellan VA Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 87.

Louis "Andy" Jackson III of Sheridan;

Daughter, Janice Jackson of Sheridan

Grandchildren; Melissa, Andrew, DeeAnna, Michelle, Tommy, Jessica, Stacey and Shannon

Great Grandchildren; Cody, Serena, Stephanie, Erica, Emily, Kay Lynn, Dewayne, Shelby, Tyler, Britney, Zackery and Hunter.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 22, 2005 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Tom Warmack and Joe Jones, Minister officiating. Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation: 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Roy Tolson, Carthel Jackson, Bennie Jackson, Clyde Jackson, Arvil Glenn Jackson, Kenny Sites, Mark Smith, Vernon Walters. Honorary Pallbearers are Charles Jackson, Russell Jackson, Cleo Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, William Ray Jackson and Raymond Jackson.
