Louise Anna Shepherd Carter of Leola, Arkansas was born November 28, 1950 in Holcomb, Missouri, the daughter of the late Charles Ray and Rilla Ashburn Shepherd. She was a member of North Malvern Assembly of God Church and was employed at Kohler in Sheridan. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Carter died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at her home at the age of 62.
Survivors: Husband, Luther Carter of Leola; Son, Brian and wife Dianna Shepherd of Leola: Step-children, Martha White and Floyd Wayne Carter both of Wynn; Brothers, Bud Shepherd of Florida; Glen Shepherd of Oklahoma; Lonnie Shepherd of Palestine; Don Shepherd of Michigan and Larry Shepherd of Caldwell; 2 grandchildren, Brice Shepherd, Blake Shepherd, 1 great grandchild, Gunner Lee Shepherd; Step Grandchildren, April Carter and Jessica White and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Faith Assembly of God Church in Leola with Bro. Keith Pennington officiating. Burial will follow at Taylor Cemetery in Leola. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
