Louise "Beasie" James Huffman of Poyen, Arkansas was born August 24, 1930 at Moro, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Charles and Lilly Patton James. She was affiliated with the Assembly of God faith and was retired as housekeeping supervisor at Sheridan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and loved spending time outdoors. The light of her life was her family and she loved making memories with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
Mrs. Huffman died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little
Rock at the age of 79. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Huffman; Son, Dennis Ray Huffman; Daughter, Barbara Huffman; Grandson, David Wayne Huffman; and a Brother, Bobby James.
Survivors include her sons, Emmett Wayne and wife Ruby Huffman of Rondo, Arkansas; Richard and wife Kathy Huffman of Katy, Texas; daughters, Brenda Louise and husband Ricky Hudson of Centerton, Arkansas; Betty and husband Bobby Hoyle of Poyen; and Terri Lynne Huffman of Poyen; brothers, Ned James of Clarendon, Charles James of Benton and Denver James of Sherwood; Grandchildren, Justin Lee Huffman, Patty Brown, Ricky Ford, Teddy Ford, John Ford, Richard Huffman, Jr., Gary Huffman, Jason Huffman, Amber Huffman, Brian Hudson, Ashleigh Hudson, Matthew and wife Jennifer Hoyle and Bobby J. and wife Cheryl Hoyle; Great Grandchildren, Jessica and husband Anthony Lutrell, Destiny Hoyle and Gunner Hoyle; great great grandchildren, Tanner Lutrell and Olivia Grace Lutrell.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M., Saturday at Salem Cemetery, near Brinkley, Arkansas. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
