Loy Van Clements of Prattsville, Arkansas was born May 7, 1948 in Nashville, Arkansas, the son of the late Willie Bell Clements and Lorayne Corbell Clements. He was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville. He enjoyed working at the Poyen Schools, watching TV and writing a Christian newsletter.

Mr. Clements died Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Saline Memorial Hospice in Bryant at the age of 70.

Survivors: daughter, Angela and husband Jason Hamilton of Glenwood; sister, Deronda and husband Don Goodman of Prattsville; brother, Derrell and wife Cheryl Clements of Waxahatchie, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Will, Faith and Jace; 3 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Honda and Mike Forsyth, Becky and Casper Pearson, Tim, Goodman, David and Karrie Goodman, Jeff and Sarah Goodman and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, July 20, 2018 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Goodman officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 until service time. Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Welcome Cemetery at Welcome, Arkansas.
