Obituary

Loyd Edward Baldwin of Williford, Arkansas was born February 7, 1935 at Harrisburg, Arkansas, the son of the late Purd and Jessie Mae Loggins Baldwin. He was a mechanic and enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping.

Mr. Baldwin died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Ash Flat Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of 75. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Wilbur Dean Baldwin, Maxine Baldwin, Clara Baldwin and Floyd Baldwin.

Survivors include his wife, Loyce Humble Baldwin of Williford; Sons, Steve Baldwin of Forrest City, Randy Baldwin of Forrest City, and Michael Baldwin of Highland; Step-son, John Lewis of Harrison; Daughters, Kathy DeSanto of Cave Creek, Arizona, and Kelly Lemons of Forrest City; Step-daughters, Dianne Wright of Gilmer, Texas, Shauna Hemsworth of Harrison, and Cheryl Masters of Harrison; Brothers, Allen Baldwin of Sheridan, Paul Baldwin of Greers Ferry, and Larry Baldwin of Sheridan; Sisters, Catherine Daggs of Clinton, Diane Wall of Houston, Texas, Cynthia Green of Florida, and Karen Baldwin of Little Rock; 12 Grandchildren, 9 Step-grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 20, 2010 in the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Saturday, from 12:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.
