Obituary
Loyd Ray Edmond of Little Rock, Arkansas, was born June 11, 1934 in Sims, Arkansas, the son of the late Earl Marlow Edmonds and Ollie Mae Stovall Edmonds. He enjoyed working with cows and horses, fishing, and coon hunting.
Mr. Edmond died Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at his home at the age of 82.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Donal Edmond, brothers, Arvin Edmonds, Claude Edmonds, sister, Juanita Baxter, Eulene Tabor and a grandson, Joseph Lee Hodge.
Survivors: wife Nina Bilyeu Edmond of the home; daughters, Kathi Ruth Vance of Wylie, Texas, Beverly Lynne Mahan and husband Dale of Sheridan, Linda Rae Henry and husband Robert of Burleson, Texas; 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one on the way.
Graveside service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Palestine-Jones Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
