Loyette Adele Wood Davis of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 6, 1941 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Lloyd Edward Wood and Evangeline Adell Smith Wells. She enjoyed music, dancing, playing with her dogs, and doing ceramics. She loved her children and grandchildren.

Ms. Davis died Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 79.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Maurice Davis; step-father, Richard Wells; daughter, Tammie Shosey and a half-sister, Gammah Scarbrough.

Survivors: daughter, Cindy (Tony) Huffman of Memphis, TN; son, Mike (Joanie) Davis of Bryant; half-sister, Joanna Cates of North Little Rock; 8 grandchildren, Michael, April, Harley, Leslie, Robert, Haley, T.J., and Kody: 13 great grandchildren , Jagger, London, Brynn, Jayden, Joshua, Sebastian, Randy, Rusty, Jazmine, Jacoby, Nevaeh, Elijah, Mackenzee; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Graveside service will be 12:00 Noon on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander.
