Adam Lucas Harter of Sheridan, Arkansas was born December 28, 1985 in Virginia Beach, Virginia the son of Joe Clifton Harter and Nancy McBee Harter. He was of the Baptist faith and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles with his brother and racing cars.

Lucas died at his home on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the age of 28.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Wileene Harter and Victor and Ollie Mae McBee.

Survivors: son, Ayden Harter of Redfield; parents, Joe Harter and Nancy Harter both of Sheridan; brother, Joe Kory Harter of Sheridan; sisters, Natasha Harter Dowd and husband Joe of Texarkana, Arkansas, Tammy Joe Harter Dunlap and husband Toby of Sheridan; nieces, Samantha Erb, Kaitlyn McAfee, Katelyn Dunlap, Olivia and Bailey Dowd, great niece, Kaydence Elkin and a host of friends.

A Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.
