Margaret Lucille Knight Etheridge of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 23, 1930 in Ashley County, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Frank Stanton Knight and Addie Moore Knight. She was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville and was a retired nurse. She was a loving, caring and devoted pastor's wife, mother and grandmother. For many years she served as a Sunday School teacher and VBS teacher. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Etheridge died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 84.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Laverne Burchell, Frances Tyson, Margie Noble, and Ruth Catherine Murphy.
Survivors are her husband, Rev. W.F. (Rick) Etheridge of Sheridan; son, Rickey L. Etheridge of Sheridan; daughters, Vicki and husband Doug Brown of White Hall and Louann Morris of Jonesboro; brother, Frank (Sam) Knight, Jr., and wife Margie of Hamburg; sister, Judy Van Arsdel and husband Harry of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Brian Morris, Leah and husband John Walters and Jason Brown; great grandchildren, Lauren Bailey Morris, Rian Morris, Sydney Walters and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Goodman and Bro. James Draper officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday at Egypt Cemetery near Hamburg. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 until 7:00P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Doug Brown, Jason Brown, John Walters, Brian Morris, Yorlly Ormeno, and Jeff Knight.
