Obituary

Luther Edward Anderson, Sr. of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 28, 1930 in Glendale, Arkansas the son of the late Thomas Luther and Carolyn Eugenia Woodrum Anderson. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, near Sheridan, had proudly served his Country in the US Army during the Korean War, and was former owner and operator of Crickets Bakery in Sheridan for 11 years. He loved music, the Razorbacks and inspirational books.

Mr. Anderson died Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 80.

Sons, Luther Edward Anderson, Jr. (Eddie) and wife Karla of Sheridan;
Bryant Clay Anderson and wife Janet of Conway;
Adopted son, Paul Mayfield of Sheridan;
Daughters, Gina and husband Mike Qualls of Maumelle;
Melinda Kayleen Neubauer of Hensley;
Kristi Anderson and Jason York of Sheridan;
Sisters, Alma Jean and husband Joe Poye of Pine Bluff;
Wanda and husband Bob Cardin of Sheridan;
19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Poye and Bro. Josh Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Phillips Cemetery in Jefferson County. Visitation : 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters.
