Obituary

Lydia Cummins Pruett of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 9, 1943 in Drew, MS the daughter of the late W.R. and Mary Lee Clark Cummins. She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired site director for Grant County Senior Citizens Center. She was well known in the community as being "Mymy" to everyone. She enjoyed chasing the grandchildren at ball parks, and always ready for the next excursion. She was always ready to go.

Mymy died Friday, March 17, 2023 at CHI Hospital in Hot Springs at the age of 80.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Pruett, brothers, Chuck Cummins, Gladwin Cummins, Bobby Joe Cummins, Richard Cummins, Billy Cummins and a great granddaughter, Lillian Holmes.

Survivors; daughters, Melinda (Terry) Finley of Sheridan, Rhonda (Marlin) Terry of Texarkana, Texas; brothers, Jonathan (Margaret) Cummins of Pearl, MS, David (Dorothy) Cummins of Madison, MS, Henry (Becky) Cummins of Drew, MS, Ankie (Stella) Cummins of Cleveland, MS; sister, Celeste Rhymes of Hazelhurst, MS; grandchildren, Audra (Matt) Cole, Grady (Madison) Finley, Tobi (Devon) Koonce, Haydn (Taylor) Finley, Austin (Christine) Holmes, Ashleigh (Clint) Holmes, Tanner (Marissa) Holmes; great grandchildren, Decker Cole, Mickey Finley, Finley Koonce, Merrick Holmes, Camryn Ford, Walker Ford and many extended family members and friends.

She was adored by many and leaves fun and wonderful memories with her family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
