Mae Deane Cotton Wilson of Sheridan, Arkansas, was born August 14, 1941 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Henry Cotton and Alma Williams Cotton Lemons. She was an active member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. She participated in the Calvary Quilters, helping make quilts for many people. She was a member of the Sheridan High School Class of 59 and enjoyed all the outings they went out.
Mae Deane died Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, at the age of 79.
In addition to her parents, and her step-mother, Eulis Lemons, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marion D. "Wayne" Wilson who died on December 5, 2013; brothers, Ralph Lemons, Lee Lemons and Tommy Ray Lemons; sisters, Betty King and Pauline Hudson Robertson.
Survivors: daughters, Brenda (Randy) Lott of Sheridan, Denita Kee of Hazen, and a dear friend of hers, John Moore; kids of the heart, Stacy and (Justin) Stockton of Sheridan, Teresa (Joe) Knight of Sheridan; special friend, Larry Harrington of Ico; brothers, J.W. (Linda) Cotton of Sheridan, Bill Lemons of Oregon; sister, Bonnie (Tommy) Riggan of Landmark; sister-in-law, Mary Draper of Sheridan; brother-in-law, Herman (Jewel Dean) King; grandchildren, Buddy (Allie) Fowler, Cassandra (Michael) Sanchez, Cody Kee, Collin Kee, Carson Kee, Abbie Stockton, Kennedy Stockton, Jackson Knight, Olivia Moore; great grandchildren, Gracie, Hunter, Tinley, Jude, and a host of step-grandchildren and extended family members, church family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan (152 Grant 63) with Bro. Dennis Holmes, Bro. Buddy Fowler, Bro. Terry Williams, and Bro. Michael Sanchez officiating. Burial will be in Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation is also Tuesday, from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at the church.
