Margaret Juanita Jackson Alter of Benton, Arkansas was born May 2, 1935 in Craighead County, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Frank Nelson Jackson      and Joezela Baugh Jackson. She was very spiritual, a gifted artist, and an animal activist. She had a Masters degree in Education and she taught at the elementary level.

Ms. Alter died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Arkansas Health Center Nursing Home in Benton at the age of 82.

Survivors: son, Stephan Alter; daughters, Gabby Fullner, Laura Marko; sisters, Liz Brown of Star City, Patty Hankins of Crossett, DeEsta Reppond of Sheridan and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A service will be held in California at a later date.
