Obituary

Margaret Fae Ratcliffe Dreher of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 31, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Charlene Tuel Ratcliffe and the late William Adam Ratcliffe, Jr. Mrs. Dreher died Thursday, January 7, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family at the age of 72. She fought a courageous battle with cancer.

Margaret enjoyed numerous outdoor activities throughout her life, such as horseback riding, barrel racing, riding bikes and 4 wheelers, fishing, and planting flowers. She also enjoyed paint by number, puzzles, cooking, reading and traveling.

She graduated from Fuller High School and then married the love of her life, Charles Eugene Dreher in June 1961. They built a home and have lived in Sheridan since 1974. She was a loving, caring and devoted daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother and grandmother.
In addition to raising her twin daughters, she worked as an accountant for Avis Rent a Car for 15 years and volunteered her time with many organizations. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in the Ico Community, where she was an active volunteer.

Margaret is survived by her husband and best friend of 54 years, husband Gene Dreher; daughters, Genia and husband Clay Elsey of Bentonville, Marcy Ply and husband Kip of Hensley; mother, Charlene Tuel Ratcliffe; brother, William Adam Ratcliffe, III and wife Deanna of Bentonville; sister, Rita Lou Ratcliffe Archer and husband Sam of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Kolton Ply, Grayson Bates and Blayne Elsey and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Easley and Bro. John Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in the Ico Community. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Sid Dumond, Paul Vernon Harrington, Justin Stockton, Eddy Adams, Jacob Adams and Lucas Adams.
