Margie Ann Johnson Gilbert, 81, of Prattsville, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Baptist Hospice in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born February 26, 1938 to Rev. James T. and Margaret Harmon Johnson in Kyrene, AZ.

She attended New Life Fellowship in Sheridan, Arkansas. She loved to camp and play outdoor and indoor games such as dominoes. She also enjoyed sewing, and keeping a beautiful flower garden. She was bookkeeper/partner at George's Diesel in Sheridan along with her husband. She was a very hard worker but church and family always came first. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death her parents; daughter Brenda Gilbert and brother, Rev. Melvin Johnson. They are celebrating her arrival in Heaven.

Margie is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, George Gilbert; daughter, Gwen Gilbert; sister, Sharron (Homer) Bryant; grandsons, Brandyn and fiance' Micah and DJ and a host extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Cypert and Bro. Autrey Dudley officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00-8:00 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Brandyn and DJ Gilbert, Kevin Bryant, Paden Bryant, Justin Moody and Dylan Moody. Honorary pallbearers are Don Ozment and Jim Moody.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Polycystic Kidney Foundation, 1001 East 101 ^st Terrace, #220, Kansas City, MO 64131.
