Obituary
Marguerite Helen King, 84, of Sheridan, Arkansas, formerly of Morgantown, West Virginia died Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.
Born on March 7, 1924 in Oakland, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Alphonso and Grashia Collins Barello. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Perry J. King, Sr. in 1984 and by a daughter, Bernice Rowan and a grandson, Eric Lantz.
She is survived by two daughters, Helen L. Lantz of Portland, Oregon and Linda Spencer of Sheridan, Arkansas; one son, Perry J. King, Jr. of Booth, West Virginia; three sisters, Mary Jane Croston of Detroit, Michigan; Beatrice DeWitt of Naples, Florida and Adaline Lowdermilk of Oakland.
11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 11:00 AM Friday, April 18, 2008 at Stewart Funeral Home in Oakland, Maryland with Rev. Donald Matthews officiating. Visitation was held Thursday at the funeral home from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Interment followed at Oakland Cemetery.
