Obituary

Marie Bailey Dismuke of Sheridan, Arkansas was born to Everette and Ruth Bailey on June 20, 1933 in El Paso, Arkansas. She went to be with her Lord and Savior at Baptist Hospital on November 26, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She loved to cook, sew, study the Bible and serve her church. She was a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, attended Grace Sunday School Class and was a member of OWLS. She graduated from Baptist Nursing School and received her LPN certification but, gave up nursing to work alongside her husband for over forty years as owners of Sheridan Auto Parts and Jim's NAPA in Malvern. She was a life time member of Eastern Star where she served in many positions.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 56 years, Charles

Dismuke, brothers, Glen and Bill Bailey and sisters, Pauline Tipton, Vida Mae

Cates, Reba Robertson and Joyce Webb.

She is survived by son: Jim Dismuke (wife, Kim) of Sheridan; Daughter: Karen Dismuke of Sherwood; 3 grand-daughters: Alexandra Dismuke Harmon  and Vanessa Dismuke of Mayflower and Presley Dismuke of Sheridan: Great-grand-children; Celeste, Thomas and Evangeline Harmon: Brothers: Calvin Bailey of Cabot and Allen Ray Bailey of Batesville, Sister: Sue Moody of Cabot and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 30, 2017 at First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in ICO Community near Sheridan. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. The family will be at 7380 West Ridge Circle in Sherwood.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Bailey, Roger Webb, Hubert Webb, Emery Way, Karl

Witherow and David Webb.

The family would like to thank Sheridan Healthcare and Rehabilitation nurses and staff for their wonderful care, Dr. Marcia Erbland and the nurses at Baptist Healthcare Hospice for their care and compassion.
