Marie Fletcher McClellan of Maumelle, Arkansas (formerly of Sheridan, Arkansas) was born December 1, 1928 in Sheridan, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Homer and Olga (Jude) Hamilton Fletcher. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Little Rock and was a retired Quality Control Supervisor for Kohler Faucet, as well as co-owner of Sassy Lass Dress Shop. She enjoyed solving crimes on television shows, reading, and cooking. Her greatest love was her daughter, her granddaughters and her great grandchildren who she adored.

Ms. McClellan died Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 89.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Vanlandingham and Jewell Treat; daughter, Joye Ann Ozment, who died on June 13, 1999; brother, Sonny Fletcher, sisters, Martha Mayfield, and Ruby Aldridge.

Survivors are her precious granddaughters, Jennifer Ozment Caldwell and husband Shawn Armbrister of Maumelle; Joanna Ozment-Harris of Benton; brother, Harlin and wife Diane Fletcher of East End; sisters, Louise Sites of Sheridan, Judy and husband Bo Bowen of Sheridan, Helen Anderton of Sheridan; great grandchildren, Jacob Harris, Gage Armbrister, Miles Caldwell, Anna-Kate Caldwell, and Tripp Armbrister and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at New Hope Cemetery (Grant County Road 167084) with Rev. Tommy Jones officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to New Hope Cemetery, P.O. Box 425, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150.

After the service, the family will be at the home of Lex Riggan, 311 Grant 74, Sheridan, Arkansas.
