Marilyn Joyce Gonser Easter of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 7, 1952 in Marmaduke, Arkansas, the daughter of Melba Joyce Jackson Gonser and the late Ervie Eugene Gonser. She was a member of North Main Baptist Church in Sheridan. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cross-stitching, playing video games and gardening. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Easter died Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 66.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Regina Renee Easter.

Survivors: husband of 44 years, Danny Easter of Sheridan; mother, Melba Gonser of Paragould;  sons, Michael (Samantha) Easter of Sheridan, Danny Michael Easter of Osceola; daughters, Melissa "Missy" Easter of Sheridan, Diane (Marty) Johnson of Osceola; 3 sisters, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Joe Bratton officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
