Marilyn Diane Shoptaw Jolly of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 3, 1947 in England, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Nathan Little Shoptaw and Mary Odessa Moring Shoptaw.

She was a member of Church of the Word in East End. She enjoyed helping with Special Olympics and being a doting grandmother to her precious grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, working puzzles and taking trips to the casino.

Ms. Jolly died Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway at the age of 73.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, William Judson "Jay" Jolly and Ron Schaal and her brother, Randy Shoptaw.

Survivors: daughters, Rose Mary Eckersley (Dale Adamson) of Sheridan, Natha Jolly (Lewis King) of Conway; sister, Carol (Morris) Smith of Sheridan; grandchildren, Aurora Myers and Bryce Eckersley, her emotional support dog, C.J. and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Matthew Fleming officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in the Ico community. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Brandon Heavner, Brandon Harper, Robert Fleming, Mitchell Fleming, Zach King, and Chris Ausbrooks. Honorary pallbearers are Dale Adamson and Lewis King.
