Marilyn Lucille Koen Smith of Sheridan, Arkansas (Ico Community) was born February 15, 1930 at Leesville, Louisiana the daughter of the late Harry Clyde and Geraldine Armstrong Koen. She was an active member of the East End Baptist Church where she had formerly taught Sunday School, worked with the G.A. girls, and with the youth group. She worked for years in the Davis Hospital in Pine Bluff, was the original owner of Movie World Video in Sheridan, and she worked in jobs at the Mad Butcher Grocery Store in Sheridan and with Kroger. She was formerly on the board of the North Pulaski Baptist Association and was on the Baptist Hospital Auxillary board.
Mrs. Smith died Friday, November 26, 2004 at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 74. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Smith.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 29, 2004 at the East End Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in the Ico Community near Sheridan. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
