Marilyn Mae Sharp Lowery of Sheridan, AR, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, at the age of 90. She was born September 15, 1933, to the late Alva Sharp and Letha Lashaway Sharp in Liberty Center, Ohio. Her parents moved to Ashland, Oregon when she was 3 years old and that is where she went to and graduated from school. She met Dewitt Lowery the summer of 1956 and they got married on September 6, 1957, in Reno, Nevada. They moved to Sheridan in 1957 and lived here ever since. She was a retired factory worker and worked in the Sheridan area for several years. She was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church, and she enjoyed meeting with the "Hen Party Girls" each month, crocheting, shopping and going to Branson.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband Dewitt Lowery, Daughter Sandra Brummer, 1 sister, 1 niece and 2 nephews.

She is survived by two stepdaughters Ann Merick, and Erma Gonzales of Milwaukee, Oregon, sister-in-law Jewell King, and nephew Dannie Herndon (Kathey) of Sheridan, AR.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday July 2, 2024, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan, AR with Bro. Brent Williams and Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00. Pallbearers will be Bill Fiser, Tony Clark, Ray Vance, Bob Adams, Gary Don Hix, and Jeffery Herndon.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church building fund.
