I t is with great sadness that the family of Mark David Ballard announces his sudden passing into the arms of his heavenly Father on August 19, 2023 at the age of 56.

Mark was raised in Fenter, AR, the youngest of five siblings and preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Emogene Ballard. Mark enjoyed taking care of his girls above all else, his nightly side by side rides with his wife, taking care of and renovating his parents old homestead and being a Poppy to his grandsons. Mark was a lifelong member and Deacon of Antioch Christian Church in Tull, AR and a loyal employee of Parker Hannifin in Benton for 23 years.

Mark is lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years, Amy, their two amazing daughters, Brittni Ballard of Poyen and Maci Wright (Jacob) of Prattsville. They were and still are his pride and joy: son-in-law, Jacob, whom Mark loved as his own, his grandsons Jasper and Denver Wright, lit up his world and he will forever be their Poppy, a special cousin John Priebe, four siblings, and numerous family and friends.

A Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 with a 10:00 A.M. graveside service at Fenter Cemetery, Fenter, AR with Sandy Woodall and Rick Burrow officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the employees of Parker Hannifin in Benton, Southern Administrative Services, all the staff of Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab. Also a special thank you to John Priebe, Doyle Lishbrook, Mark Hinton "Spud", and Ronnie Milks "Punkin"

Pallbearers are Jacob Wright, John Priebe, Will Wright. Robert Bradshaw, Cody Bradshaw, Doyle Lishbrook, Justin Button, Honorary pallbearers are Virgil Brumbelow, Mark Hinton "Spud" and Ronnie Milks "Punkin" and the staff of Parker Hannifin.

Life is beautiful, but way to short, never take one moment for granted, love deeply and Keep God First. Rest in peace and love our sweet Mark until we meet again, you are greatly loved.
