Mark Wayne Manning of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 23, 1943 at Malvern, Arkansas, the son of the late Ernest Teen and Elree Edwards Manning. He attended Full Gospel Church, had worked for Fox Lumber Company and later Centria. Wayne enjoyed fishing, music, playing computer games and watching cartoons. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Mr. Manning died Friday, December 28, 2012 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 69. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Calvin Manning.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Lillian "Penny" Vokey Manning of Sheridan; sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne and Tammy Manning of Paragould, Joshua and Brittany Manning of Camden; daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and Carl Carlson of Alma, Kay and Jon Paul Anderton of Sheridan, Debra and Kevin Taylor of Glenwood; brother, Jackie Manning of Prattsville; sisters, Nita Tuberville of Sheridan, Janette Dobbs of Kingsland, Letha Mae Brown of Sheridan, Emily Manning of Bryant; grandchildren, Garrett Carlson, Ashlyn Anderton, Abbey Carlson, Trevor Taylor, Austin Anderton, Talon Taylor, Treyton Taylor; (soon to be) great grandchild, Brayden Wilkinson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Bert Montgomery and Bro. Larry Swiger officiating. Burial will follow in Center Campground Cemetery. Visitation will also be Wednesday, from 9:00-11:00 A.M., prior to the service.
