Mark Acie Watson of Sheridan, Arkansas was born December 23, 1962 in Rison, Arkansas, the son of Joseph Acie Watson and Mary Lou Colly Smith. He was a member of Bethany #1 Missionary Baptist Church in Grapevine, Arkansas. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, running dogs, coon hunting and spending time with his family.

Mark died Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 54.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Watson.

Survivors: wife of 24 years, Thelma Lenard Watson of Sheridan; step-son, Dennis Lenard of Pine Bluff; step-daughter, Jamie Lenard of Malvern; father, Joe Watson of Grapevine; mother, Mary Smith of Sheridan; brother, Donald and wife Donna Watson of Pine Bluff; 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 4, 2017 at Bethany #1 Missionary Baptist Church in Grapevine. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-11 AM also at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
