Marshie Jane Blackerby Hedden of Sheridan, Arkansas was born December 6, 1923 at Grapevine, the daughter of the late Vin and Ruthie Johnson Blackerby. She was a homemaker and member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church of Sheridan.

Mrs. Hedden died Saturday, April 3, 2004 in Baptist Medical Center at Little Rock at the age of 80.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Joe Hedden of Sheridan

Daughters: Martha Rae Keedy of Sheridan
Betty Jo and husband Wallace Horton of Sheridan

Brother: Frank and wife Billie Blackerby of McGhee

Sisters: Elva Taylor of Grapevine;
Johnnie and husband Lester Bratton of Sheridan

6 Grandchildren, 3 Step-Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 5 Step-Great Grandchildren

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan with Rev. John Mooney and Rev. Donnie Blackerby officiating. Burial will be in Hedden Chapel Cemetery at Grapevine. Visitation: Monday, 5-8 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
