Martha Marie Roberts Murchison Boucher of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 12, 1937 at Sheridan, the daughter of the late J.T. and Sara Holmes Roberts.  She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church. To say that Martha was a "character" was an understatement.  You knew she liked you if you were out in public and heard a voice call you a "turkey", or a number of other questions or quotes that she was known for.  If you ran into her, you better be prepared to not just say hello, but to stop and visit.  Part of the reason for those visits was because she truly loved people and never met a stranger, and another was because she didn't want to miss anything that was going on.  Her greatest joy really was her family, and she was grateful for their love and for always including her.

Mrs. Boucher died Friday, April 29, 2022 at Sheridan Nursing and Rehab at the age of 84.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence Murchison and Vernie Boucher; sisters and brothers-in-law, Johnny and Dan Ray and Virginia and Allen Baldwin; 2 nieces and 2 great nephews.

Survivors include her longtime companion, Darrell Brakebill. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

PLEASE NOTE LOCATION CHANGE :  Due to the potential of bad weather,  funeral services will be held  in the Funeral Home chapel at  10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 3, 2022,  with Bro. Calvin Holmes and Bro. Charlie Whitt officiating.  Services will dismiss at the chapel and there will be no Service at the cemetery. Visitation is Monday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
