Obituary

Martha Elizabeth Williams Brown of Grapevine, Arkansas was born August 28, 1939 in Sheridan, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Leonard Ellis and Lillian Culpepper Williams. She was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff.

Her passion in life was to tell people about her Lord and her life was a true testimony of her love for her Lord and family. She enjoyed working outdoors in her garden, sewing, quilting with her sisters, cooking, deer hunting, burning a brush pile and just taking care of her family.

Mrs. Brown went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab Center at the age of 75.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jerry D. Brown, a brother, Ellis Williams, a sister, Dora Lee Nelson and a granddaughter, Beth Worthen.

Survivors; loving husband of 57 years, Jimmy Ray Brown of Grapevine; sons, Jimmy E. Brown and wife Monica of Sheridan; Thomas E. Brown and wife Jeanie of Woodlawn; daughter, Karen Lawson of Sheridan; sisters, Lyndell Gosnell of Sheridan, Mary Sanders of California, Betty Johnson of Beebe, Margie Camp of White Hall, Patsy Williams of Sheridan and Connie Jacks of Beebe; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Pallbearers are Jerry Brown, Lonny Quarles, David Camp, Randy Brown, David Brown, Raymond Camp, Drew Brown and Johnny Stone. Honorary pallbearers are Jackie Stone and Trey Songer.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab Center for all the love, care and concern shown to Mrs. Martha and to them. It is greatly appreciated.
